RAGI ADAI

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Sprouted Ragi flour @fructus_terra
  • 1/2 Tsp pink salt
  • 1 Cup Moringa leaves
  • 3 -4 Green chillies
  • 1/2 cup pearl onions(optional)

Direction:

  1. Mix the 1 cup of ragi flour from @fructus_terra along with salt, green chillies and 1 cup of finely chopped Moringa leaves together in a bowl
  2. Add little amount of water and knead well to form a thick dough
  3. Shape into small balls and roll out into a thick disc in a baking sheet or banana leaf with applying oil on it 
  4. Heat the cast iron pan on medium flame and just cook the adai on both sides
  5. Check for the little brown spots. Once they start appearing, this indicating that it’s completely cooked.

Preparation time: 10-15min
Cooking time: 5-10min
Iron rich healthy breakfast is ready
